After earning a degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of South Dakota, she spent over a decade in technical and professional writing before returning to her first love: speculative fiction.
Kaycee is the author of Project H.A.L.I., a sci-fi romance series that began with the breakout novella Ghost Code. Her work explores love, identity, and technology through emotionally rich characters, seductive tension, and high-stakes storytelling.
When she isn’t writing, Kaycee can be found riding her motorcycle across the Midwest, stargazing through her telescope, experimenting in the kitchen, or running immersive Dungeons & Dragons campaigns.
